I’m participating in Romance at Random’s Reader Rally! So what, you say? This is your chance to win free books, that’s what! And not from just me, but lots of other romance authors. You can enter a couple ways. First, leave a comment here on my blog sometime before midnight on January 31st. You can simply answer the question How many romance novels do you typically read in a year? or just say hello, and you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a copy of Colorado Dawn, my latest release. Next, click on the Romance at Random image below to enter their Grand Prize Drawing as well as visit other participating author blogs. So easy even I could do it (and I’m pretty technology-challenged)!
I’ll be announcing my winner on my blog at the beginning of February. So be sure to check back to see if you won. Good luck!
K
P.S. Did you know you can follow me on Facebook and Twitter? Hope to see you there!

Hi Kaki, I will be the first to comment. I love your books and can’t wait to get Colorado Dawn. I really can’t tell you how many romances I read a year because I have no idea. I just read every night before I go to bed and lately if I get every thing done I read some during the day. I visit Romance at Random every day so will have to check out more of the blog post in this reader rally. Take care and keep up the good work!

I read on average 20 plus books a week. Usually 800 or more a year
800! Are you a speed reader? How lucky you are to have the time. Do you remember any of them? LOL. When I read a lot of books, they seem to jumble up in my head after a while. Good luck on winning more.
LAST YEAR WAS OVER 300 AND THSI YEAR SO FAR I GOT 12 DONE AND I TRY TO DO 3 TO 4 WEEK
Excellent, Desiree! (BTW, love your name! It was my grandmother’s name and is the name of a character in one of my books.) Keep reading!
LOVE YOUR BOOKS! I wish I had time to read a book everyday.
Thanks, Margaret. I wish I did, too. Good luck in the tgiveaways.
Thanks for the great giveaway! =)
I usually read at least 2-3 books a week, depending on the genre/format. And believe me, if I could possibly read more I would!
2-3 a week sounds like plenty to me. Hopefully after the giveaways you’ll have a bunch more to read. Thanks for dropping by.
This is such a fun blog hop. Colorado Dawn sounds lovely. Thanks so much for the giveaway!
I read more novellas than novels. I would say between 20 and 30 novels and many more novellas.
It is a great blog hop. Romance @ Random had a great idea, didn’t they? I’m glad you like novellas. I’m working on one right now. Good luck!
Thanks for participating in the hop and for the giveaway opportunity.
How many romances? Well if I count all the genres I read in, its probably almost 200 books. Fast reader here!
sophiarose1816@gmail.com
I’ll say. Good luck in winning more to add to that pile. Thanks for coming by.
I would guess that I read at least 30 romance novels a year + a bunch of other types of books.
Excellent, Lindsay. Good luck in the giveaways.
I read lots and lots of books-If I told you how many you would think I don’t have a life.
My secret-I took a class in speed reading awhile ago and I am a very fast reader.
As an author I appreciate readers who enjoy lots of books. Keep it up!

An excellent record, too! Hopefully you’ll win a bunch more through the giveaway. Glad you came by.
Thank you for the book giveaway….I read a lot of books, mostly Romance, Historical. I imagine I at least read 50 Romance novels a year.. angadair@nwcable.net
Historical romance is my favorite, too. (I guess it would have to be, right?). Glad you came by.
I read more than I should. There are other things I really should be doing, like housework, but reading romances is so much more enjoyable. I probably read about 150 romances a year. Wish I could read faster.
I have heard so many good things about COLORADO DAWN. I look forward to reading it.
Thank you, Librarypat. I hope you get a chance to read CD. It’s one of my favorites. Good luck in the giveaways.
Thanks for the great giveaway. I probably read 60-70 books a year.

You’re welcome, Crystal. Thanks for participating.

Thanks for the chance to win!

Good luck, Savannah. Even if your kids cut into your reading time, you’re teaching them by example that reading is a treat. Thanks for coming by.
Hi Kaki,
last year i read about 110 books and this year i hope i can read 150 books or more
Excellent goal, Eli. Good luck with it and with the giveaway. Glad you dropped by.
Kaki, I can’t say that I have read any of your work (to my knowledge which isn’t saying much because sometimes I can’t remember what I ate for dinner the night before LOL) but I look forward to checking it out. On average I read roughly 160+ romance novels a year and then others in different genres (I’m kind of a bibliophile). I’d probably read more if I didn’t have to do housework, cook, go grocery shopping, or eat LOL! Thanks for your participation in this giveaway! greeneyesredhair@gmail.com
Thanks for coming by, Lora. And I hope you win a copy of COLORADO DAWN so you can add it to that huge reading pile. Good luck!

Thanks for coming by, Sharen. I hope you like CD. If you get a chance to read it, let me know. And good luck in the giveaways.
Have your book on my wishlist!

130 books? Slacking? Wow. Good luck in beating that. And good luck in the giveaways. Thanks for dropping by.

I’m amazed at the number of books you responders read. That’s wonderful. Hopefully you’ll win even more in the giveaways. Thanks for participating.
Hi Kaki,
I have to tell you that I haven’t read any of your books yet but, I would love to. I am always looking to find an author I have not read yet and give them a try. Thanks for the chance to enter your giveaway.
Glad you dropped by, Tina. I hope you win so you can give my books a try. Good luck!
Hi Kaki,
I’ve been an avid romance reader since the mid-1980′s. I read approximately 200 books a year. I can do this now because my children have moved on with their lives and I’ve given up a lot of TV shows.
I prefer Historical and Contemporary Romances. I have not experienced one of your books yet. I have read several wonderful reviews. Thanks for the chance to win Colorado Dawn.
Thanks for coming by Laurie. I hope you get a chance to read one of my books. Good luck in the giveaway.
I tend to read mysteries (James Patterson) and romances especially with cowboys (Linda Lael Miller)
msboatgal at aol.com
James Patterson is wonderful, isn’t he? There’s a great romantic suspense on special sale until the end of the month called THE PAST CAME HUNTING, by Donnell Bell. Her interview is on my blog right now. You ought to check her out, too. Thanks for dropping by, and good luck in the giveaways.
Kaki, I am engrossed in the middle of your first book Pieces of Sky, which is wonderful! Have trouble getting anything done with it tempting me.
Lately, I read probably about 150-200 books a year, mainly romances, of all genres, plus mysteries and thrillers, too.
Since youngest daughter finally moved out, it might be more! Of if baby grandson would take a longer nap
Am looking forward to reading the rest of your books, too.
Thanks, Sherry, glad you like it. Good luck in the giveaway and with your own writing. It’s never too late!
Thanks for this great giveaway! I read 60 books last year and the majority were either YA or Adult Romances, so I could safely say at least 30 each year.
Twitter follower: @SweetNSensible
Thanks for coming by, Sarah. And thanks, too, for the lovely email. Good luck!
I usually read in the 150-175 range!
Typically, I can read anywhere between 250-300 depending on the books and my health. Hope you’re having a great 2012!

I hope you’re having a great 2012, too. Kimberly. Thanks for coming by.
The romance genre accounts for the majority of books I read. I’d estimate about 150 romances a year. Thanks for participating in the Reader Rally.
Mochfly(at)swbell(dot)net
I read about 70 romances a year, well I did last year and I’m shooting for 100 for this year
june111(at)att(dot)net
I think that I read anywhere between 50 and up in romance books a year. It would depend because I read other types of books too. Thanks for being a part of the hop. I hope that you have a great week and a wonderful weekend!
jessangil at gmail dot com
Thank you for the awesome giveaway and for the chance to win! I read so many books, im not sure. I want to say at least a hundred the way i go through them! lol
shadowluvs2read(at)gmail(dot)com
Hi Kaki,
I would say I read at least 125 romance books a year. I haven’t really counted, but I read everyday so I get in a few a week. Thanks for the giveaway.
Thanks for participating in the reader rally. I love to “discover” new-to-me authors! Typically, I read 100+ romance books a year. I read just about all of the romance genres. Last year I managed 150, so my goal for this year is 165! Now that I’ve “discovered” you, I’ll be adding your books to the TBR list for this year! Thanks!
Colorado Dawn sounds so different, I’m quite curious about it now! In a year I think I might read 20 or so books that are largely romance.
Thank you for the giveaway!
